Background

It all started with one project. P&G was impressed with the depth of quality, attention and value they received when working with Design Central. Fourteen years later, Design Central’s talent, expertise and bandwidth have been shared throughout P&G’s business units and has been entrusted to help brands like Swiffer, Febreze, Pampers, Always, Tide, Bounty and Mr. Clean continue P&G’s promise of quality to the consumer.

Product Development

Design Central works on a strategic and tactical level to explore new materials, trends and methods to visually interpret design and packaging concepts to make products visually and emotionally appealing to the consumer. P&G depends on Design Central’s strong, upfront technical and innovative 2D and 3D concept and prototyping expertise to align initial design phases with the brand promise. Design Central has perfected the process of prototyping durable and disposable materials and continually challenges manufacturing constraints enabling products to come to life in new, impactful ways for P&G and their consumers.

Research

As an integrated partner on P&G’s global research journey, Design Central has gained unique knowledge and insight of their consumers. Working to translate the habits and practices of the consumer has benefited brands like Always and Pampers and this knowledge informs every coinciding step in the development process. Design Central’s deep understanding of materials and manufacturing processes and ability to connect the visual brand to technological innovations through early conceptual visualization has resulted in many successful global product launches.
